We are very interested in "a tasting experience at one of the many wine hill-town wine shops, where you can sample from a few different producers while the kids enjoy gelato or the local playground. "
Where can this be done? What towns?
Thank you for your help!

Excellent tour of Lake Orta. I really enjoyed the town of Orta and hiking up to the church at the top. Great views of the surrounding area, absolutely beautiful! For those opting for San Giulio island as well, this involves taking a ferry that makes multiple stops along Lake Orta think: water bus before reaching San Giulio. Lake Orta and San Giulio are quite nice places to visit, having said that. Could have done without the last stop to the oversized statue of San Carlo Borromeo.
